We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen operations and support our pursuit of a Michelin star.
The Role As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to drive consistency, leadership, creativity, and operational excellence throughout the kitchen. You will play a key role in shaping the culture, mentoring the team, and maintaining the highest culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities - Supporting the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen management
- Leading and motivating the brigade during service
- Maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Assisting in menu development and innovation rooted in Caribbean flavours and modern techniques
- Managing stock control, ordering, waste reduction, and kitchen organisation
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Training and developing junior chefs to Michelin-level expectations
What We’re Looking For - 3+ years experience working in a Michelin or fine-dining kitchen
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a high-quality or fine dining environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Deep passion for Caribbean cuisine and modern gastronomy
- Excellent organisational and operational ability
- High standards, attention to detail, and composure under pressure
- Ambition to be part of a restaurant striving for national recognition and Michelin success
