We have an exciting opportunity for a Mixed Tax Senior to join a large firm of Chartered Accountants, at their office based in Darlington.
As a Mixed Tax Senior, you will be responsible for:
Preparation of more complex income, P11D and corporation tax returns from a variety of systems including CCH, Iris and Taxshield
Review work and aid development of junior members of the team
Research tax planning issues
Support tax partners and directors in more complex cases around residency, R&D, and capital gains tax
Undertake remuneration planning and liaise with the client as appropriate
Undertake basic planning work, liaising with the client as appropriate with support from tax partners and directors
Undertake initial reviews of draft tax computations produced by audit and accounts colleagues
Act as a point of contact for clients for ad hoc queries
To qualify for this Mixed Tax Senior role, ideally you will meet the following:
Fully ATT qualified or part CTA qualified
Relevant tax experience having worked as a Mixed Tax Senior or similar in an Accountancy firm.
Have excellent communication skills and be confident speaking to clients face to face, over the telephone and by email
Must have excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Excel
Proven experience of delivering excellent client service
