SEN Teacher – Dorset

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Dorset. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who is committed to supporting children and young people with special educational needs to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with a range of complex needs including autism, communication difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and external professionals
  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Has experience working within SEN or specialist education settings
  • Demonstrates patience, resilience, creativity, and strong communication skills
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Has a genuine passion for inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
