Case Handler – Wills & Probate

Location: Yate – Applicants Must Live Local to Yate

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 depending on experience
Job type: Full-time (part-time considered for the right candidate)
Working pattern: Office-based (no hybrid working)

We are looking for a Case Handler to join our friendly Wills & Probate team based in Yate. This role involves supporting clients following a bereavement and managing probate cases from start to finish, offering both legal and administrative assistance during a sensitive time.

The role:

• Managing probate cases from inception to completion
• Speaking with clients and beneficiaries and keeping them informed throughout the process
• Providing guidance and support on Wills and Probate matters
• Preparing, reviewing and processing legal documentation
• Managing multiple cases while maintaining high levels of accuracy and care
• Delivering excellent client care with empathy and professionalism

Skills & experience:

• Previous legal or case handling experience is beneficial (Wills & Probate ideal but training can be provided)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
• Experience dealing directly with clients, including sensitive conversations
• Ability to work fully office-based in Yate
