We are currently seeking Payroll Clerk to support accurate and timely payroll delivery for our client . This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth payroll operations during the implementation of Sage Payroll, working closely with the wider payroll team.

The ideal candidate will have experience within fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and confidence handling sensitive data.

• Pay rate:£15.00 
• Monday- Friday
• 2-3 Months Assignment

Key responsibilities for a Payroll Clerk:

• Support the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payroll.
• Maintain high data accuracy and ensure full compliance with payroll processes and regulations.
• Handle payroll queries professionally and efficiently.
• Provide ad hoc administrative and payroll-related support to ensure smooth team operations.
• Contribute to maintaining secure and well-organised payroll records.

What we’re looking for in a Payroll Clerk:

• Previous payroll experience
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with payroll software — experience with Sage is highly advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident with data entry and administrative tasks.
