Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business to recruit a Draftsperson for their South Yorkshire operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Draftsperson with experience in fabrication, manufacturing or heavy engineering environments to join a technically focused business delivering bespoke engineered solutions into a range of industrial sectors.

The Draftsperson role will involve producing detailed manufacturing drawings for bespoke engineering projects, supporting projects through manufacture and working closely with engineering, production and project teams throughout delivery.

The Draftsperson role will include:

• Producing detailed manufacturing drawings for bespoke engineered equipment
• Supporting projects through approval and manufacturing stages
• Working closely with internal engineering and production teams
• Attending project meetings and providing drawing updates
• Liaising with customers regarding technical requirements and project scope
• Ensuring work is completed in line with quality and health & safety standards

Draftsperson Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience producing manufacturing drawings within heavy engineering, fabrication or manufacturing environments
• Experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
