Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and within agreed deadlines
• Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for a range of clients, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback to support their development
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact and delivering an excellent level of service
• Liaising with managers and partners on technical matters and contributing to the efficient running of the department

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or studying towards final examinations, with a solid background in audit and accounts
• Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Strong working knowledge of accounting software and relevant audit tools, with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to liaise directly with clients and senior stakeholders
• A proactive and organised approach to workload management, with a high level of attention to detail
