Are you an experienced Administrator within a financial setting?

We are working with a well-established financial services firm in St Albans that is looking to recruit an ambitious Administrator who is keen to build a long-term career within financial planning and progress into a Paraplanner role.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous financial services experience — ideally supporting Financial Advisers — who is motivated to learn, develop their technical knowledge, and complete industry exams as part of their career progression.

You will work closely with one Adviser and their dedicated Paraplanner, providing day-to-day administrative support while gaining hands-on exposure to the paraplanning side of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to the Adviser and Paraplanner
  • Preparing and processing client documentation
  • Managing client records and maintaining compliance documentation
  • Liaising with clients, providers, and third parties
  • Assisting with report preparation and suitability documentation over time
  • Supporting the wider financial planning process

About You

  • Previous experience within financial services is essential
  • Ideally experienced supporting Financial Advisers or within an IFA environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Keen to study towards industry qualifications and progress into Paraplanning
  • Motivated, professional, and career-focused

Salary & Benefits

  • £25,000–£30,000 depending on experience and qualifications
  • £100 per month flexible employee benefit allowance
