Our client, a respected and values-led organisation within the charitable sector, is seeking to appoint a Finance Manager on a part-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation in a key role supporting both operational finance and strategic decision-making.

As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the organisation's day-to-day financial management, working closely with senior leadership to ensure robust financial planning, accurate reporting, and effective control of resources.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Monitoring performance against budgets and overseeing cashflow
• Management of payroll, ensuring full statutory compliance
• Oversight, maintenance, and optimisation of finance systems
• Continuous review and improvement of financial processes
• Supporting financial reporting at senior management level
• Delivering clear financial insight while ensuring regulatory compliance

About you:

• Proven experience in a similar, hands-on finance role
• Strong capability in producing management accounts and interpreting financial data
• Ability to present financial information in a clear and practical manner
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Experience using accounting and payroll systems
• Previous experience within a charity or not-for-profit environment is advantageous, but not essential
