An exciting and rewarding opportunity has become available for an experienced and compassionate SEN Tutor to support a secondary-aged student with ADHD in Year 8, who is currently experiencing challenges with school attendance and classroom engagement.
This role is based within a supportive secondary school in the London Borough of Wandsworth and will involve providing highly personalised 1:1 academic and emotional support to help successfully reintegrate the student back into full-time classroom learning.
We are specifically looking for a tutor who has a strong understanding of how students with ADHD think, process information, regulate emotions, and engage with learning. The successful candidate must be patient, adaptable, emotionally intelligent, and experienced in supporting young people with additional needs.
This is far more than a traditional tutoring role, it is an opportunity to build trust, confidence, structure, and positive learning habits that will support long-term educational success and emotional wellbeing.
About The Role
The tutor will work closely with the student both inside and outside the classroom, gradually supporting them through a structured reintegration programme back into mainstream lessons.

The role will initially involve more intensive support, with hours gradually reducing as the student becomes increasingly confident attending mainstream classroom lessons independently.
