Your Role
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:
- Teach Food Technology across KS2-KS4 within a highly personalised curriculum
- Plan and deliver practical lessons that build independence, confidence and functional life skills
- Adapt teaching to meet a wide range of needs, including behaviours that challenge
- Create a safe, structured and engaging kitchen environment
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced trauma or disrupted education

What You'll Need
- Right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence (may be beneficial due to rural location)
- QTS or relevant UK teaching experience
- Ability to teach Food Technology (or strong transferable practical teaching experience)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- References covering the last 24 months
Preferential Experience
- Experience working with SEND, particularly pupils with complex needs or behaviours that challenge
- Experience delivering practical subjects or life-skills-based learning
- Experience teaching up to KS4
