We’re looking for a Medical Secretary – Oncology to join our Medical Secretarial team based across our London outpatient locations, including 97 Harley Street, 81 Harley Street, the Private Medical Centre and Chelsea. Supporting a large and complex oncology service, you’ll work closely with around 40 Consultants and be part of a collaborative team of approximately 20 experienced secretaries. Reporting to the Medical Secretarial Supervisor, this role plays a key part in ensuring clinics run smoothly and patients experience well-organised, compassionate care.
As a Medical Secretary – Oncology, you’ll take ownership of a busy Consultant practice, working with a high level of autonomy and professionalism. Your day will involve managing clinics, coordinating patient journeys and handling sensitive clinical and financial information with care and accuracy. You’ll balance competing priorities, anticipate what’s needed next and act as a trusted point of contact for patients, Consultants and colleagues across the hospital. Typically, the role involves three days on site once established, with flexibility around clinic days, and full on-site support during probation to help you settle in with confidence.
