Role Overview

The Technical Commercial Support Engineer provides technical and commercial support across sales, customers, and internal teams. The role focuses on supporting product applications, responding to technical queries, and assisting with quotations, pricing analysis, and product information management.

You will act as a key link between technical support, sales, product teams, and customers, ensuring accurate information flow and high-quality customer support.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Provide technical support on product functions, features, and applications
• Respond to customer technical queries and application requests
• Maintain and update technical databases and product libraries
• Assist in assessing product returns and technical investigations
• Support the development of technical documentation and catalogues
• Contribute to ISO support processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Use CRM and support systems to improve technical service delivery

Commercial Support

• Assist in preparing quotations and commercial offers
• Support product pricing and market analysis activities
• Contribute to competitor comparisons and benchmarking
• Assist with product launches and operational marketing activities
• Support export and product teams with application-based pricing requests

Customer & Internal Support

• Work closely with internal sales and technical teams
• Liaise with export, product support, and marketing departments
• Support field sales teams with technical and product information
• Assist in customer and distributor training sessions

Data & Market Support

• Support pricing and market data analysis
• Assist in maintaining accurate product and commercial information systems
• Contribute to development of internal tools, systems, and processes

Key Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of electrical and technical systems
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements
• Experience with CRM systems and technical databases (advantageous)
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Commercial Skills

• Ability to support quotation and pricing processes
• Understanding of product positioning and competitor analysis

Education & Experience
