SEN Teaching Assistant - Ipswich - Start Date ASAP

Prospero Teaching are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive but challenging SEN school in Ipswich, starting ASAP. This role is ideal for someone with resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs. The school requires a practitioner with some level of SEN experience, as the environment can be demanding but incredibly rewarding.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Ipswich

• Position - SEN Teaching Assistant

• Start date - ASAP

• Full time/part-time - Full time

• Minimum rate of pay - £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)

• Hours - 8:30 am - 3:45 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with SEN pupils (essential due to the challenging nature of the school)

• Relevant training in SEN strategies or behaviour support (desirable)

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

• Provide two professional child-related references
