Delivery & Logistics Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Delivery & Logistics Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse and logistics operations, including inbound and outbound deliveries, stock movement, dispatch coordination, and daily warehouse performance. The successful candidate will lead warehouse teams, ensure efficient operational workflows, and maintain full compliance with HMRC regulations, customs procedures, and legal requirements relating to the receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of goods. Strong leadership skills, operational management experience, and a solid understanding of warehouse systems and logistics compliance are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily warehouse and logistics operations efficiently and safely
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing deliveries, dispatch schedules, and goods movement
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, customs procedures, and legal transport requirements
  • Monitor warehouse processes, operational performance, and workflow efficiency
  • Lead, supervise, and support warehouse staff and duty scheduling
  • Maintain accurate stock handling and warehouse documentation
  • Coordinate with suppliers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Implement and maintain health & safety standards within the warehouse
  • Resolve operational issues and improve logistics processes where required
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a senior warehouse or logistics management role
  • Strong understanding of HMRC procedures, customs regulations, and compliance standards
  • Experience managing warehouse teams and daily operations
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics processes
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
