We have an exciting new role which will involve overseeing the daily running of a busy e-commerce operations department working closely with the E-solutions, Sales and Contract Logistics Teams.
Our client is interested in motivated and dynamic candidates who have experience of managing teams, some experience with Logistics/E-commerce would be an advantage.
Reporting to the department Manager role will involve the following -
• Oversee team’s daily tasks and ensure tasks completed according to deadlines / SLA’s
• Develop & test additional system function & features within shipping platform
• Ensure SOP’s / Training Manuals are up to date and fit for purpose
• Work with Sales & Contract teams to ensure Product offering in line with customer expectations
• Streamline and enhance current Products & services offered
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers while finding new suppliers who can meet our client’s needs more effectively and efficiently
• Negotiate rates & monitor contract renews
• Carrier Invoice reconciliation
• Onboard new customers
• Implement new processes
• Monthly reporting and KPI’s
Key Skills & Experience -
Experience at Team Leader level with Freight/Logistics/E-Commerce
Excellent planning and organisational skills
