We are working with a fast growing accounting practice based just outside of the Tameside Area who are looking to bring in a Client Accountant, this is the perfect role for someone who wants to gain ownership of a portfolio of diverse clients and build on already strong client relationships.

Client Accountant – Responsibilities:

• Preparing annual accounts and corporation tax returns
• Preparing self assessment tax returns
• Handling client bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Preparing VAT returns
• Acting as the main point of contact for assigned clients
• Answering queries and explaining figures to clients
• Working on cloud accounting software such as Xero and Dext
• Supporting your portfolio of clients with Cash flow, Reporting and Performance Insights

Client Accountant – What we want:

• Proven experience within a Practice environment
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in various cloud accounting software, including Xero and Dext
• Experience in financial management and reporting is essential
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

• Salary – c£36k DOE
