Maximizing all display opportunities presented within all relevant customers in the designated area
Achievement of sales targets and initiatives in line with company strategy
Formulation and implementation of a territory strategy to ensure achievement of various targets and objectives as agreed with RSM
To negotiate product range, price, volume & display space in line with company targets/guidelines within Cash & Carry & Wholesale accounts on your designated territory
To accurately forecast & manage a sales promotional fund on your designated territory to grow sales in a profitable manner
To identify, evaluate, record and capitalize on new business opportunities within the designated area
To co-ordinate all activities within the designated territory in line with targets set by the RSM
Negotiation of display space within Cash & Carry sector and retail outlets on an ongoing basis
To assist in the production and development of a retail portfolio, driven by Cash & Carry & wholesale customer base working together with the RSM and National Account Team
Liaison with Customer Services Department on a regular basis whereby documented agreements will be administered incorporating effective and relevant development plans
To conduct a minimum of five C&C/Wholesale/Retail calls per day
To arrange and implement demonstration days as required by line manager and/or customer needs
To report competitor activity to line manager on a daily basis, obtaining samples, pictures and pricing where possible
What we need from you
2 A Levels
Full-time, 37 hours per week
A full clean current driving license
The ideal candidate will possess:
Well organised, articulate and with high personal standards
Good presentation, relationship building, strong negotiation, numerate and computer literacy
Good strong communication skills with professionals
Ability to work closely within a team to include planning and liaison with various departments with the organisation and independently
Ability to absorb new information quickly and effectively
Good problem-solving skills
An understanding of FMCG would be beneficial but not essential
