Supply Cover Supervisor

We are seeking dedicated Supply Cover Supervisors to join our team, working with secondary schools across Norwich. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and have a keen interest in contributing to the development of students in a secondary school setting.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring that pre-set work is completed.
• Maintain classroom discipline, adhering to the school's policies and procedures.
• Assist students with their work as required, providing guidance and support to facilitate learning and participation.
• Manage any immediate issues or emergencies according to the school's policies.
• Ensure a constructive and safe learning environment.
• Provide feedback on student behavior and any issues encountered during the day to the regular teaching staff and school administration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in an educational setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to engage with students aged 11-16.
• Flexibility to work with different classes and subject areas.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
