Our client, an independent Estate Agency are looking to recruit a Lettings Negotiator/Administrator to join their branch on the outskirts of Maidstone.

About the Role

They are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Lettings Negotiator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to build or progress a career within residential lettings. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing applicant enquiries, and delivering a high level of service to both landlords and tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Registering applicants and understanding their property requirements
  • Arranging and conducting property viewings
  • Negotiating offers between landlords and tenants
  • Generating new landlord instructions and business opportunities
  • Maintaining regular contact with landlords, tenants, and applicants
  • Coordinating tenancy progression from offer agreed through to move-in
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant lettings legislation and company procedures
  • Supporting the wider team to achieve branch targets

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in estate agency or lettings (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Target-driven with a proactive approach to sales
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm and every other Saturday with a day off in lieu midweek. 1 hour lunch break 37.5 hours per week.

Salary: £24,784.50 - £26,000 per annum with OTE approx. £30,000 depending on experience.
