The role:
As Audit Senior, you'll take responsibility for leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, while acting as a key contact for clients and supporting junior team members.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver audit assignments end-to-end, including planning, fieldwork and finalisation
- Identify key audit risks and design appropriate risk-based audit procedures
- Supervise and review the work of junior staff, providing guidance and support
- Ensure audits are delivered efficiently, within budget and to a high technical standard
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted day-to-day contact
- Work across a varied client portfolio including corporate businesses, entrepreneurial groups and charities
- Support senior leadership on more complex assignments and ad hoc projects
About you:
- ACA / ACCA qualified
- 3-5+ years' UK practice audit experience
- Proven experience leading audits from planning to completion
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and UK auditing standards
- Experience with charity audits highly desirable
- Organised, proactive and confident managing multiple assignments
- Strong communication skills and experience mentoring junior team members
