The role:

As Audit Senior, you'll take responsibility for leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, while acting as a key contact for clients and supporting junior team members.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver audit assignments end-to-end, including planning, fieldwork and finalisation
  • Identify key audit risks and design appropriate risk-based audit procedures
  • Supervise and review the work of junior staff, providing guidance and support
  • Ensure audits are delivered efficiently, within budget and to a high technical standard
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted day-to-day contact
  • Work across a varied client portfolio including corporate businesses, entrepreneurial groups and charities
  • Support senior leadership on more complex assignments and ad hoc projects

About you:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified
  • 3-5+ years' UK practice audit experience
  • Proven experience leading audits from planning to completion
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and UK auditing standards
  • Experience with charity audits highly desirable
  • Organised, proactive and confident managing multiple assignments
  • Strong communication skills and experience mentoring junior team members
