Finance Manager – Immediate Start | Growing SME Business

Hybrid - 3 days in the office/2 WFH - Warrington, Cheshire

£300-£325 per day - Outside IR35

Are you an immediately available Finance Manager looking for your next interim opportunity within a fast-paced SME environment?

We are partnering with an ambitious and growing SME business seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the team on an interim basis. This is a hands on role suited to a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in entrepreneurial businesses and enjoys supporting growth and operational improvement.

The successful Finance Manager will take ownership of the day to day finance function while providing valuable insight and support to senior leadership during an exciting period of expansion. This is an interim role whilst they hire and on board a permanent member to the team. There is a potential for Temp-to-Perm for the right candidate too.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing monthly management accounts, P&L and financial reporting
• Overseeing cash flow, budgeting and forecasting
• Supporting business growth initiatives and process improvements
• Managing transactional finance and ensuring financial controls are maintained
• Partnering with operational stakeholders across the business
• Assisting with year end preparation and liaising with external accountants/auditors

About You

• Qualified accountant or qualified by experience finance professional - CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• Previous experience working as a Finance Manager within an SME environment
• Comfortable operating in a hands on and fast moving business
• Strong commercial awareness and problem solving ability
• Available immediately or at short notice
