Compliance Officer - Hybrid working - Full time - £35,000 plus benefits

Amtis is supporting a well-established organisation to hire a Compliance Officer into a Legal & Compliance team.

This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level compliance professional with hands-on experience across Data Protection, or AML, financial crime and regulatory compliance, who enjoys working closely with stakeholders in an in-house environment.

• Support the Legal & Compliance function across AML, financial crime and data privacy
• Conduct compliance monitoring and assurance reviews
• Prepare and support Data Subject Access Requests (SARs), AML reviews, sanctions and PEP screening
• Maintain compliance policies and frameworks
• Support regulatory scanning and governance reporting
• Provide compliant, practical guidance to the wider business

• At least 1 year’s experience in a Compliance or Legal & Compliance team
• Practical experience with AML, SARs, sanctions or PEPs
• Comfortable operating in a Second Line of Defence role
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Well organised, proactive and able to work independently
• Compliance or AML qualification desirable but not essential
