Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a more autonomous and rewarding community-based role?

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Community IV Nurse to support patients receiving home-based intravenous therapies, including Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), across North & North West London.

This is an opportunity to deliver truly patient-centred care in the community, helping individuals manage complex therapies safely and confidently in their own homes while building meaningful long-term relationships.

Whether you have experience in IV therapy, nutrition, community nursing, or acute care, full specialist training will be provided.

About the Role

As a Community IV Nurse, you will support patients from therapy initiation through to ongoing treatment and follow-up within their homes and community settings.

You will provide clinical care, patient education, and emotional support while working closely with dietitians, pharmacists, nutrition teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care delivery.

This role covers North & North West London, including areas such as:

  • Islington
  • Finchley
  • Hampstead
  • Muswell Hill
  • Enfield
  • Surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with clinical protocols and service standards
  • Support patients receiving IV therapies and TPN in the community
  • Educate patients, families, and carers to promote safe self-management
  • Conduct home visits for treatment initiation and follow-up care
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Identify and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
  • Adhere to safeguarding, governance, and infection control procedures
  • Maintain NMC registration and ongoing professional development

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Registered Nurse (NMC)
  • Minimum 1 year post-registration experience
  • Full UK or Irish driving licence
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
  • Comfortable using digital systems and electronic documentation
  • Enhanced DBS and occupational health clearance
