As an Operations Account Manager, you will play a key role in shaping client success and delivering exceptional event experiences.

The Role:

Client Relationship & Account Growth

  • As  Operations Account Manager  you will act as the primary day-to-day contact for allocated accounts, building trusted long-term client relationships.
  • Lead client meetings, manage briefings, and ensure clear communication between clients and the Event Management team
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts and drive repeat business.

Commercial Ownership & Performance

  • Own the commercial performance of assigned accounts, ensuring revenue and margin targets are achieved.
  • Negotiate fees and contractual terms, manage scope to protect profitability, and identify opportunities for additional work and upsell across projects.
  • Brief Scoping, Proposals & Contracting
  • Scope client briefs thoroughly, defining deliverables, responsibilities, assumptions, and exclusions.
  • Develop Statements of Work and costings in collaboration with the Event Management team
  • Support contract negotiations and implement change control processes for scope variations.

Project Oversight & Collaboration

  • Maintain oversight of projects delivered by the Event Management team, ensuring clear handovers from scoping to delivery.
  • Monitor timelines, budgets, and client expectations
  • Attend key planning meetings and lead client communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Onsite Leadership & Financial Governance

  • Attend key live events as the senior client contact where required, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed scope and contractual commitments.
  • Oversee project budgets, margin tracking, invoicing schedules, reconciliations, and support forecasting and operational improvements.


The Candidate:

Essential

  • 4–7+ years’ experience within an event agency environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable P&L or account ownership
  • Significant experience scoping briefs and developing appropriate Statements of Work
  • Proven communication and relationship building ability
  • Proven ability to grow accounts and manage margin
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience supporting or leading onsite event delivery

Highly Desirable

  • Experience working with beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands
