I am currently working with a well-established and growing retail business based in Rotherham that is looking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller to join their friendly and close-knit finance team.

The Role

• Managing and maintaining the sales ledger.
• Chasing outstanding payments via telephone and email.
• Building strong relationships with customers and resolving account queries.
• Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts.
• Producing aged debt reports and supporting cash flow management.
• Liaising with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Supporting the wider finance team with additional duties when required.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience within Credit Control or Accounts Receivable.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive and positive approach to work.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good IT skills, including experience with finance systems and Excel.
