As a Product Manager for internal AI enabled tools and services, including Copilot for Microsoft 365, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of multiple AI enabled products and services that support colleagues across the organisation. These products are primarily internally facing and focus on improving efficiency, decision making, insight, and ways of working through the responsible use of AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the adoption and optimisation of internal AI and automation tools across MaPS, with a particular focus on Copilot for Microsoft 365 and related workplace technologies.
- Own the product direction for internally facing AI enabled tools that improve colleague productivity, internal processes, service quality, and organisational efficiency.
- Use adoption, usage, and outcome data to inform prioritisation, improvement, and lifecycle decisions for internal tools.
- Work with business teams and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities to embed Microsoft 365 and automation capabilities into day-to-day workflows.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand needs, define problems, manage expectations, and support adoption through training, learning materials, and other enablement activities.
- Translate user needs, policy constraints, and organisational goals into clear product outcomes, priorities, and evidence-based decisions, working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver value safely and incrementally.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of internal AI enabled tools and services, including analytics, automation, and tools such as Copilot for Microsoft 365.
- Describe the value of AI enabled products and identify opportunities for reuse, automation, and efficiency across the product lifecycle, from experimentation through to scaling.
- Ensure AI products are designed and implemented in a way that is safe, ethical, explainable, compliant, and aligned to organisational governance, legal, privacy, and responsible AI requirements.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience managing products or services within the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly Microsoft 365, Copilot for Microsoft 365, Power Platform, or related automation tooling.
- Experience driving adoption of internal workplace technologies or enterprise platforms, rather than only customer facing digital products.
- Experience working on products that improve internal processes, colleague productivity, workflow automation, or business operations.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical product improvements using Microsoft platform capabilities and enterprise tooling.
- Experience balancing product delivery with governance, security, data protection, and organisational change considerations in an enterprise environment.
- Experience applying Agile principles and using Agile tools to support team delivery.
Ways of Working:
- Contribute to the wider product, data, and AI communities of practice.
- Take an iterative, evidence led approach to product development, using feedback and data to refine decisions over time.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non technical stakeholders, adapting style and level of detail to the audience.

At MaPS, we take pride in our flexible approach to work. As standard, we work on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and our headquarters in Bedford will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business needs, but personal and other relevant circumstances will also be considered. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.
Recruitment Process:
- Initial Review: Our recruiter will review your CV. If it looks like a good fit, they'll reach out to arrange a call.
- Hiring Manager Review: If the recruiter thinks you're suitable, your CV will be passed to the hiring manager, who will decide whether to invite you for an interview.
- Interview: If selected, you'll participate in a virtual interview. This single-stage process allows you to demonstrate your skills and experience through competency-based questions. This will also require you to deliver a short presentation.
