Client Experience Executive
Cambridge (office-based)
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000
Reports to: Director of Client Experience
The Role
I am recruiting a highly organised and client-focused Client Experience Executive to support Directors, Financial Planners and Client Relationship Managers within a professional financial services environment. This is a varied, fast-paced role focused on delivering an excellent client experience while maintaining high operational and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute client instructions (e.g. new business, withdrawals) within agreed SLAs.
- Maintain accurate and secure client records across internal systems.
- Prepare client documentation including meeting packs, valuations, fee requests and invoices.
- Coordinate and support client meetings, including diary management and meeting room preparation.
- Act as a professional point of contact for clients via phone, email and in person.
- Liaise with third-party providers to track business through to completion.
- Support colleagues and adhere to FCA, SM&CR and internal compliance requirements.
About You
Essential:
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a busy office environment with changing priorities.
- Confident using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proactive, professional and able to work under pressure.
Desirable:
- Experience using a financial services back-office system (e.g. Intelliflo).
- CII R01 qualified or willing to study towards it (with further professional study supported).
Benefits & Rewards
- Salary £25,000 – £30,000 plus discretionary annual bonus.
- Pension scheme:
- Eligible to join on starting, subject to criteria, with 3% employer / 4% employee (net) contributions during the first 12 months.
- After 12 months’ continuous service, employer contribution increases to 6% provided the employee contributes a minimum of 3%, operated via salary sacrifice.
- Opportunity to increase employee contributions annually, with enhanced employer contributions available after long service.

- 23 days per full holiday year (1 January – 31 December) plus 8 bank holidays, pro-rated on joining.
