Temporary Credit Controller - Chertsey, Surrey - Approx. 4 month assignment


Your new role


Working as part of a team of credit controllers, you will be tasked with keeping aged debt to a minimum and reducing credit risk to the business. Your duties will include:

  • Managing your own ledger of customer accounts
  • Setting up and opening new accounts
  • Running credit checks and setting suitable credit limits
  • Monitoring customers against agreed limits
  • Holding and releasing orders as required
  • Chasing payments by telephone, email and letter
  • Query and dispute resolution
  • Reporting

What you'll need to succeed


You will be a skilled credit controller who can start a temporary credit control role in May 2026, and commit to an assignment that will run for approx. 4 months. You will have a proven track record of successfully chasing and collecting payments in line with agreed terms. Excellent communications skills, a professional telephone manner and the ability to manage your own ledger will also be required. This role is office based in Chertsey. therefore, you will need to live within a sensible commute of Chertsey.
