We’re partnering with a well-established, growing manufacturing business to appoint a Head of FP&A in a newly enhanced role. This is a key leadership position, responsible for building out best-in-class financial planning and analysis capabilities while partnering closely with senior leadership. You’ll lead a small team and play a central role in shaping the commercial and financial direction of the organisation.
The Role As Head of FP&A, you’ll take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, while developing robust FP&A and commercial processes to support strategic decision-making. Working closely with the Group Finance Director, you’ll provide insight, challenge, and visibility across the business, helping to drive performance and long-term growth in a production-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the group budgeting and forecasting cycles
Develop and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting frameworks
Deliver clear, insightful analysis on business performance, including operational and production drivers
Partner with senior stakeholders to support commercial decision-making
Build and embed KPI reporting to improve visibility and accountability across operations
Lead, mentor, and develop a small FP&A team
Support strategic planning and long-term financial modelling
Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and data quality
Work closely with finance and operational teams to improve understanding of cost, margin, and performance
About You
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Strong FP&A experience, ideally within a manufacturing or product-based environment
Proven ability to build or transform FP&A functions and processes
Commercially minded with strong analytical and influencing skills
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
Comfortable operating in a hands-on, evolving business
