Corporate Banking Analyst

Reed Banking is delighted to be working with a small, well-established international bank to recruit a Corporate Banking Analyst to support its Corporate Banking team based in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically strong individual to gain broad exposure across corporate banking in a relationship-driven, international environment, with direct access to senior decision-makers and a diverse cross-border client portfolio.

The Role

Working closely with Relationship Managers, Credit and Risk teams, the Analyst will play a key role in supporting the origination, execution and ongoing monitoring of corporate banking relationships across the Middle East and North Africa region.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting Relationship Managers with day-to-day management of MENA corporate clients
• Preparing client materials, presentations and meeting packs
• Conducting financial analysis, including financial statement spreading, ratio and cash-flow analysis
• Assisting with credit applications, annual reviews and deal memoranda
• Supporting the structuring and execution of lending facilities and trade-related transactions
• Monitoring portfolio performance, covenant compliance and credit risk indicators
• Coordinating with Credit, Risk, Compliance, Trade Finance and Operations teams
• Assisting with KYC, client onboarding and periodic reviews

The Person

• 1–3 years’ experience in corporate banking, credit analysis or a related financial services role
• Strong financial analysis and written credit skills
• Good understanding of corporate banking products (loans, trade finance, deposits, FX)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline

Desirable

• Exposure to MENA markets or international corporate clients
• Experience working within a small or mid-sized bank
