What’s the deal

We’re looking for a driven Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end operations across procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics, and distribution within a complex industrial environment. You’ll balance cost, service, and inventory while driving continuous improvement and supporting business growth in a collaborative organisation. Plus, there’s an opportunity to bring in your own purchasing assistant.

Your mission

As Supply Chain Manager, you will:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategy aligned to business objectives, ensuring optimal balance between cost, service, and inventory
• Lead S&OP process, improving forecasting accuracy & aligning demand with operational capacity
• Manage supplier selection, performance, & relationships, including negotiation of pricing, contracts, and service agreements
• Monitor supplier OTIF, quality, and cost metrics, while reducing risk through dual sourcing strategies
• Optimise inventory levels, working capital through effective stock control policies & material planning
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, improving transport efficiency and ensuring on-time customer delivery
• Enhance ERP/MRP systems, data accuracy, & planning parameters to support operational excellence
• Drive continuous improvement, digitalisation, and process standardisation across the supply chain.
• Work with Sales, Production, Finance, & Engineering to support business strategy/growth initiatives

The kind of person we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a leader within in a supply chain, logistics, or procurement leadership role
• Commercially aware with a strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and S&OP processes
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Excellent communications and skilled in supplier negotiation and performance management

• Salary up to around £55k + Company Performance Bonus
