Part-Time Finance Assistant

An SME FMCG business based near London Bridge is seeking a Part-Time Finance Assistant to join the team on a 6 month fixed-term contract, working 3 days per week.

This is a hands-on role within a growing business, supporting the day-to-day finance operations and working closely with the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase invoice processing
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Posting bank transactions and reconciliations
  • Credit control and debtor chasing
  • Raising customer orders
  • Investigating and challenging customer shorts/deductions
  • Supporting with ad hoc finance and administrative duties

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a finance assistant / accounts assistant position
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confidence managing credit control processes
  • Experience working within an SME environment preferred
  • FMCG or product-based business experience beneficial
  • Good Excel and finance systems knowledge
