Senior Conveyancing Assistant

Location: Leeds

Salary: Up to £31,000 DOE

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy and growing Conveyancing team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled conveyancing professional looking to take on a hands-on role supporting a fee earner across a varied residential property caseload.

The successful candidate must be confident in managing residential conveyancing files from instruction through to completion independently, with the exception of title checks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting one fee earner with a full residential conveyancing caseload
• Managing conveyancing files from instruction to completion, excluding title checks
• Preparing and drafting legal documentation and correspondence
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
• Managing searches, enquiries, and post-completion matters
• Preparing files for exchange and completion
• Maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring deadlines are met
• Providing excellent client care throughout the transaction process

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a residential conveyancing role
• Ability to independently manage files through to completion (excluding title checks)
• Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
