Senior Accountant & Auditor - Independent Accounting Firm

£50,000 - £65,000 DOE

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established 3-partner firm based in Central London in their search for a Senior Accountant & Auditor.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACCA/ACA qualified accountant looking to take ownership of client engagements within a close-knit and collaborative environment. The role offers a 70% accounts and 30% audit and is well suited to someone who enjoys working across different service lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships
• Assist in/lead audits from planning through to completion
• Manage multiple assignments, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
• Review work prepared by junior staff and support their development
• Represent the firm professionally across client engagements

Key Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Minimum 2+ years' post-qualified experience within practice
• Strong experience across both audit and accounts (essential)
• Confident leading audits and managing client relationships
• Excellent communication skills with a professional and personable approach
• Experience with IRIS software beneficial
