We're working with a growing, forward-thinking insurance business in the East Midlands looking to appoint a Development Executive to drive new business in the Commercial insurance sector.

The Role

  •  As a Development Executive you'll be at the front end of the sales process - identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients, turning cold outreach into warm, revenue-generating opportunities.
  • This can be a pure development role, or you can build your own portfolio.
  • You will have a team of dedicated technicians behind you to help you on your way

Key Focus
- As a Development Executive, you will proactively generate and qualify new business opportunities
- Build and manage your own pipeline of prospects
- Develop relationships with commercial clients, fees ranging from £2,500 and upwards
- Identify strategic growth opportunities and introducer channels

What You'll Bring
- Experience of Commercial insurance sales,  generating your own leads, and closing prospects to clients
- Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
- Resilience, drive, and a KPI-focused mindset
- Ability to handle objections and build rapport quickly
- Cert CII (or willingness to obtain within 18 months)
