Full-time Compliance Manager

• Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days at home post-induction)
• Location: Central Bristol

Join a supportive and inclusive firm with a history spanning over 120 years. Our client is looking to recruit an experienced and proactive Compliance Manager to help maintain the highest regulatory standards within their award-winning team.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage, develop, maintain, and implement the firm’s compliance and risk management policies and procedures.
• Act as the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) if appropriate.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on necessary actions.
• Oversee internal audits and risk assessments.
• Handle complaints and liaise with regulatory bodies where required.
• Deliver compliance training to staff across the firm.
• Promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical practice.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a compliance role within a medium-sized high street law firm.
• Strong knowledge of Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) regulations and legal compliance frameworks.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional, discreet, and solutions-focused.
