We are delighted to be supporting our client in recruiting for a 'HR Advisor' on a 12 week initial contract!


Job Purpose:

To contribute to the delivery of the organisation’s People Strategy by providing a professional human resources service aligned to the current and changing operational and strategic needs of the business.

Taking the lead on organisation wide initiatives such as wellbeing, and service specific changes such as the people impact of organisational change.


Job Description:

  • Personally undertake complex employee relations activity up to and including dismissals, ensuring work is of a high standard and is carried out in accordance with agreed standards and procedures, employment law and best practice. Ensure accurate and complete records of all casework are maintained.
  • Advise on the application and interpretation of all human resources policies, procedures, local and national terms and conditions, employment legislation and case law, escalating cases for professional advice where appropriate.
  • Make a proactive contribution to good employee relations by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with trade unions and by supporting and encouraging managers to undertake effective consultation with trade union and employee representatives.
  • Ensure accurate and complete records of all casework is maintained and to assist the in the preparation of document bundles for formal hearings, appeals and employment tribunals to high standards.
  • With the support of the Senior HR Business Partner work with business leaders to deliver defined organisational change projects including TUPE, realignments up to and including redundancy.


A Level 5 qualification in Human Resource Management and CIPD Associate membership is essential.
