About the Opportunity

RP Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, international manufacturing business to appoint a commercially driven Head of Finance. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for financial operations across multiple European entities.

This position will suit an experienced finance leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, and who thrives in a complex, multi-site, multi-currency environment.

The Role

Reporting to senior leadership and working closely with the board, you will take ownership of financial strategy, performance, and control across the European region. You will play a key role in shaping business direction, improving profitability, and supporting growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy across multiple European entities
• Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Provide commercial insight to drive profitability and operational performance
• Oversee cost control, efficiency improvements, and margin enhancement
• Evaluate investment opportunities, including CapEx and M&A activity
• Manage tax strategy and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions
• Partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
• Lead and develop financial models to support long-term planning

About You

• Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• Significant post-qualification experience in senior finance leadership roles
• Proven background in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environments
• Experience managing multi-entity and multi-currency operations
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving business performance
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems expertise
• Confident communicator, capable of influencing at board level
• Hands-on, analytical, and results-driven

Desirable

• Experience supporting M&A activity
• Exposure to group-level finance or international operations
