Chalk Hill Group are delighted to be supporting an internationally operating organisation, based near Weybridge, in their search for a French speaking Credit Controller. This role will offer hybrid working.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ownership of cash collection and focus on debt reduction across the Group
• Work with key clients, using influencing and negotiation skills, to bring payment terms in line with contractual obligations
• Monitor customer payments vs business level performance, ensuring limited risk exposure
• Obtain required information to perform credit checks, in order to set credit limits
• Identify and analyse high risk customers, identifying means to reduce risk where possible
• Liaise with lawyers for all legal matters relating to legal actions against international customers
• Liaise with external stakeholders for all legal matters relating to potential action against international customers
• Manage internal queries and mailbox

Experience required:

• Fluent in French and English (pre-requisite)
• Extensive experience of high volume sales ledger
• Basic accountancy knowledge
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel/word
• Strong communication skills with ability to build and influence relationships, internally and externally
• Numerate and good analytical skills
• Proven ability for attention to detail and accuracy
