HR Manager – Hands-On Role in a Fast-Paced Manufacturing Environment

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on HR Manager to take full ownership of the HR function and team. You’ll be the visible HR lead for a busy manufacturing operation, supporting managers, driving engagement and shaping a culture where people can perform at their best.

This is a full-time, permanent, site-based role at the heart of the operation. And best suited to a HR lead who loves being at the centre of the action

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Champion engagement and help strengthen a positive, inclusive culture
  • Coach managers to build capability and confidence in people leadership
  • Provide expert guidance on ER, policy, best practice and employment law
  • Support development, succession and retention across all departments
  • Lead complex ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances and appeals
  • Use HR data and insights to identify trends and drive improvements
  • Deliver training and development sessions across the site
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects, restructures and wider change activity

What You’ll Bring

  • Broad HR generalist experience: manufacturing/FMCG exposure is a real advantage
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
  • Strong Excel and IT capability
  • A proactive, flexible, solutions-focused approach
  • Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
