Business Support & Intelligence Officer

Location: Devon

Rate: £19.76 umbrella, Inside IR35

Duration: 3 months

Hours: 22.2 hours per week

Working Arrangement: 1 day in the office required

Start Date: ASAP

Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Business Support & Intelligence Officer on behalf of a local authority in Devon. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business support and intelligence professional to provide operational and analytical support across Community Safety services.

Duties:

• Supporting the smooth, efficient and effective delivery of Community Safety operational case management systems
• Providing analytical preparation, research, data collection and database management support
• Reviewing incoming intelligence and data to identify patterns and support evidence-based decision making
• Preparing briefing packages and reports for officers and managers
• Maintaining accurate and high-quality data across systems including Flare, Lalpac and W2
• Assisting with Freedom of Information requests within statutory timescales
• Ensuring compliance with Data Quality principles and organisational standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or public sector environment
• Strong analytical and data management skills
• Experience using databases and case management systems
• Ability to interpret and present data clearly and accurately
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel
