My client is a growing pharmaceutical business, with a global client base. They provide specialist products and logistics services within the pharmaceutical industry.

As part of this growth they seek an experienced accountant / bookkeeper to join the team, working closely with the FD on all areas of finance transactions. It is a broad role covering all aspects of invoicing, payments and reporting in a multi-currency environment. This a permanent role based at their London office with hybrid working available. Key Responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, coding, approval workflow, and timely payment runs
• Manage accounts receivable, issuing customer invoices, monitoring aged debt, and driving effective credit control to minimise overdue balances
• Process multi-currency transactions, ensuring accurate exchange rate application and reconciliation across international entities
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are posted accurately and in line with internal controls.
• Manage invoice and payments in UK pounds, US dollars and Euros and other currencies.
• Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, petty cash, and supplier statements
• Support month-end and year-end close, including accruals, prepayments, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve invoice or payment queries promptly
