Multiple roles available: Quantity Surveyor | Senior Quantity Surveyor | QS Manager

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist contractor delivering complex, high-value data centre projects across the UK and Europe. They are looking to strengthen their commercial team with experienced Quantity Surveyors at varying levels.

Experience in data centres is not essential, so this is a great opportunity for QS professionals from a range of construction backgrounds who are looking to step into a fast-paced and growing business.

The Role

You will be responsible for the full commercial lifecycle of projects, from pre-contract through to final account, ensuring strong financial control, risk management, and value creation throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and management of budgets, cost plans, forecasts, and financial reporting

• Full quantity surveying duties including valuations, variations, and final accounts

• Management of change control and variation procedures across projects

• Identification and mitigation of commercial and contractual risks

• Provision of commercial insight to support project profitability and performance

• Support procurement including subcontract orders and material purchasing

• Liaise with clients and attend progress and commercial meetings

• Maintain accurate project cost records and weekly financial reporting

• Ensure compliance with ERP systems and internal commercial processes

• Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team

• Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to data protection standards

About You:

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying or a similar commercial role

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline (preferred)

• Strong understanding of commercial and contractual construction processes

• Experience using cost management software and ERP systems

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
