Our client is a well-known and respected hospitality business with a strong presence across the UK. They are now looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Financial Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation where finance plays a key role in business performance.

Key Responsibilities·

• Own the fixed asset registers for all entities and business partnering with the operational team on new projects. Producing group capex spend reports.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and supporting schedules
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Contribute to financial reporting and variance analysis
• Support cash flow reporting and monitoring
• Liaise with operational teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data
• Assist with audit preparation and external auditor queries
• Support ongoing process improvements within the finance function

About You

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
• Previous experience in a similar role (hospitality or multi-site environment desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and good technical accounting knowledge
• Confident using Excel and financial systems
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work across departments
• Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and progress professionally.
