Housing Liaison Project Officer (Temporary - 12 Month Contract) - Local Authority

Location: Newham
Pay: £29.50 per hour PAYE
Contract: Temporary (12 months)

Adecco is recruiting Housing Liaison Project Officers to support frontline housing teams within Newham Council and deliver a range of high-priority projects within Housing Tenancy Services.

These roles will help ensure continuity of service where gaps exist and contribute to a broad portfolio of project-based work aimed at improving outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide additional housing liaison support where service gaps exist
• Deliver project work including estate inspections, garage audits and resident liaison
• Support tenant engagement across housing schemes and supported housing
• Assist with implementation of action plans and service improvement initiatives
• Respond to and monitor service enquiries and shared inboxes

About You

• Experience working in housing, tenancy services or resident-facing roles
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable balancing project work alongside operational support
• Able to work flexibly across service areas
