The Role

As a full-time class teacher, you will take full responsibility for your class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire a love of learning. You will play a key role in shaping pupil progress, contributing to the wider school community, and upholding the trust’s commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, curriculum-aligned lessons
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to support development
• Manage behaviour confidently using consistent and proactive strategies
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders
• Contribute to wider school life, including meetings, events, and enrichment activities
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil achievement

Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching within primary key stages
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
• A reflective practitioner with a proactive and professional approach
• Genuine dedication to pupil wellbeing and achievement
