Experienced HGV Trailer Technician Opportunity at Reputable Nottingham Repair Centre
Our client, is seeking a skilled HGV Trailer Technician to join their professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician to secure a long-term position within a busy workshop, offering competitive pay and opportunities for overtime. Benefits:
Circa £50,000 basic salary plus overtime
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Duties:
Service, repair, and maintain trailers including tail lifts and curtain siders
Conduct fault diagnosis and complete repairs efficiently
Prepare trailers for MOT testing and ensure compliance with legal standards
Carry out repairs adhering to manufacturer guidelines and health & safety regulations
Maintain accurate documentation of all service and repair activities
Identify additional defects or repair requirements during inspections
Uphold high standards of workmanship at all times
Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Trailer Technician or HGV Technician, with a solid understanding of trailer systems and repairs
Strong diagnostic skills and fault-finding ability
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance (desirable)
Full UK driving licence required
Experience working on tail lifts and curtain siders is advantageous
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
