An established and growing independent accountancy firm is seeking an experienced Manager to join its expanding team in Downham Market. Following a period of sustained growth, the firm is looking to appoint a commercially minded professional who can manage a varied client portfolio while supporting further development of the local office. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual looking to step into a client-facing leadership role, with genuine long-term progression and partnership potential.

Role Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, acting as the main point of contact.
• Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax returns.
• Providing business and tax advice to clients, supporting their growth and compliance needs.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supervising and supporting junior team members, reviewing their work and aiding development.
• Working closely with partners on client strategy and service delivery.
• Identifying opportunities for additional services and contributing to business development.

Personal Requirements

• ACA / ACCA qualified.
• Strong experience within practice, managing a client portfolio.
• Confident reviewing accounts and dealing directly with clients.
• Good working knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ambitious, with a desire to progress into a senior leadership or partnership role.
