We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor for one of our clients based in Milton Keynes

Hours of work: 7.30am – 4.15pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am-3pm on Friday

Responsibilities:

·Manage and co-ordinate operations, leading production team

·Oversee orders within production schedule, ensuring quality standards met

·Continuous improvement

·Work in collaboration with planning and scheduling

·Take part in audits and carry out routine risk assessments

·Monitor performance and maintain manufacturing KPI’s

·Utilise systems to track inventory, reporting waste and scrap

·Support the Plant Manager with recruitment and training as well as motivating team

The successful candidate will need:

·A solid background within a manufacturing/production environment based within potential fields such as automotive, engineering, chemical as an example

·Experience of leading a team

·A good understanding of quality systems

·Lean manufacturing & continuous improvement tools

·Excellent problem solving skills

·ERP systems – working knowledge
